GETTING THERE

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Our wedding is located in a beautiful hacienda resort right outside of Cuernavaca, Morelos, a 1h30m drive from Mexico City. Every event during the wedding weekend is inside the resort. So all you have to do is walk to each event! Woo!

CHILDREN THERE

We absolutely would love your little one to be part of this special weekend! So if you choose to bring them here are some notes :) Important: The reception, which runs from around 8pm to 3am on Saturday night, has an age limit of 12 years old due to venue restrictions, so all attending children under that age will have access to our guarderia (daycare) that has a drop off before the reception and pick up at midnight. They will have a meal, movies, play area, and a quiet area for bedtime, with teachers and a nurse available. There will also be a quiet nursing station with mini fridges for milk storage if needed. It is also worth mentioning, that your rooms and daycare will be within walking distance of the reception venue. If we have noted you have children, you should be able to see this option when RSVPing.If you have any questions, please reach out to the bride or groom!

STAYING THERE

Don’t worry! When you RSVP you will see travel packages available for booking, that include your stay and flights (our travel concierge will reach out to you after selecting a package). We have taken care of roundtrip transportation from the airport to the resort, so no need to stress about that! If you choose not to book the travel packages, not to worry! We understand, just know that you will have to take care of your own transportation to the resort. IMPORTANT NOTE: we recommend the 4 night stay travel option, so you are able to relax and not worry about the possibility of flight seats running out during an event day. Also, the room prices at the resort vary, since rooms can be of very different sizes, and the ones with lower prices might run out quick. Remember, our guests might be the majority at the resort and flights, but there will be other people on vacation as well, so book as early as possible for best prices! THE RSVP BUTTON WILL STAY OPEN AFTER THE DEADLINE, BUT IF YOU RSVP AFTER APRIL 1st 2026 TRAVEL AGENT REPLY TIMES WILL BE LONGER AND PRICES WILL BE HIGHER. SAME APPLIES IF YOU DONT REPLY TO THEIR EMAIL WITHIN A WEEK AFTER THEY SEND A CONFIRMATION REQUEST.

With that said, some good information for all of our guests: MEALSIn Mexico, we eat about 5 times a day. Dont worry! the portions make sense. - Breakfast whenever you wake up, from 6-8 am, which consists of just coffee and some fruit or pan dulce. - Almuerzo is probably our heaviest meal, around 10 to 11 am, and it can be enchiladas, eggs done many ways, or even steak tacos! - Lunch is around 2-3 pm, and it can be any dish. Dont worry, the resort's restaurant has a lot to choose from.- Merienda around 5-6 pm is either the same as breakfast, or could be a drink or two with some snacks. We are big on family time for all of our meals, so whatever gets people together works!- Dinner is at 8 - 9pm and it is very similar to lunch. SLEEP TIMESThis widely varies per family and lifestyle of course, but it is very common seeing people hanging out at 11pm, going to bed at midnight can be very normal. You'll see children still running around at those hours!With that said, it is worth mentioning that siesta is a big thing! mostly on time off... a 30 minute nap after lunch gives the energy for the second half of the day :) and kids tend to fall asleep anywhere at any time during the day. WEDDING DAYWeddings can be a 3 day event and every event in a wedding can vary per state, it is beautiful to see how each states has its own traditions! Receptions usually go until 5 am or later the next day... and we do have ours ending at 3 am, so take that siesta so we can dance the night away!
